Using a mixture of line, texture and paint i have explored the forms and details of these variouse insects. I feel that the more organic and fluid images are more successful, using continuouse line is a style that i really enjoy and will be developing as my work progresses. Another way i have developed my work is by manual and digital manipulation (see Drawing Developments link) Another element that i enjoy is putting down the colour and the texture then adding the line to the image, this does not always convey the exact replicar of the image but i feel that is an interesting interpritation of the subject. In furthering my work i intent to explore a wider range of materials, bringing in more textures and interest to the images.
